DESCRIPTION:Our QR self-guided tour is an incredible outdoor recreational activity\, in which individuals or groups use the camera on their mobile device to scan the QR codes along the trail. These QR codes will identify an education opportunity in that area in which you will need to use your eyes and ears to observe. \nIndividuals and groups can participate year-round at Heron Haven. DESCRIPTION:To register\, go to: COMING SOON\nJoin Heron Haven Nature Center for an invasive species volunteer clean-up day!\nVolunteers will be helping Heron Haven remove invasive bush honeysuckle from the forest understory.————————————————————————We encourage volunteers to bring their own loppers\, pruning shears\, and hand saws to help remove Honeysuckle. Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves\, safety glasses\, and water bottle to ensure their safety and comfort. We also recommend wearing closed-toe shoes\, pants\, and a long sleeve shirt. A water refill station and some snacks will be provided.————————————————————————Participation in this volunteer activity does require signing Heron Haven’s safety waiver which will be available the day of.
